As we swam through an amazing cave tunnel, our dive master found a juvenile brown banded bamboo shark [Chiloscyllium punctatum] shaking it’s tail feathers in an overhang. It was less that half a meter in length.
It’s classified as Near Threatened (NT) on the IUCN Red List.
