I hate math but would love to become a marine biologist. I was wondering how much you use math during your average work day?

I hate maths too but unfortunately it’s the most powerful language out there.
We all use maths everyday, but anyone working in science needs at least a basic grasp of maths. The amount of use varies with what you do daily. I’m not analysing the data I’m collecting yet but when I do, it will be excel and statistics galore!
It really depends on what kind of ‘marine biology’ you want to do. But we all have to learn to accept that maths is a part of life. Take it or…well you just have to take it.
