I am a junior in highshool and am looking into going to college for marine biology. I just want to be with ocean life. I love whales! Do you have any tips? College suggestions? Etc?

Tips? Get experience. Now. Don’t wait. Find somewhere to volunteer, or get a part-time job, anything related to what you want to do, even if it isn’t an exact match. It’ll put you miles ahead of the rest and get you used to the work so you can relate real-life to your studies better. Plus you’ll start to make a network of contacts, people you know who will be willing to help in the future. And in any thing you do, it’s all about who you know!
