Mad as a Marine Biologist

High-res An anemonefish seeks shelter in its host anemone. Pictured in the Maldives by Jason Isley.
This magnificent anemone [Heteractis magnifica] and the Orange Skunk Clownfish [Amphiprion sandaracinos] have a mutually symbiotic relationship, meaning both species benefit from the interaction. The anemone fish keeps the anemone [who is rather a messy eater] clean and free from disease, and the anemone has a home that stings any intruders!
